Some of the best new prehnite specimens to hit the market in a while are those that have been recently found in Mali. The best of these specimens are some of the finest gem quality prehnites that we have seen from any locality and this is an excellent example. Gemmy, pretty mint-green botryoids form a striking, very sculptural, 360-degree specimen. The prehnites really glow when backlit. Great condition all the way around, and really eye-catching. A very attractive piece of a species that is often overlooked in the mineral world. The locality is now abandoned. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock and older material.
