Item Description

A colorful and unusual prehnite geode weathered from basalt from this less well-known Australian locale. The shapely sliced and polished very glassy geode is filled with striking transparent to translucent bright yellow-green prehnite. The bit of accenting white is natrolite. A very fine combination example from the locale from the Chet Lemanski Collection and acquired at the Tucson Show in 2000.
