Item Description

Amethyst is very rare from this well-known New Jersey Traprock quarry. Classic, pretty mint-green, lustrous and translucent, bladed, helmet-shaped, prehnite crystals are attractively clustered and scattered on the basalt matrix covered with glassy, blush-purple, amethyst points. Ex Robert Nowakowski Collection and acquired from one of the well-known New Jersey dealers and collectors, the Hauck brothers. A rare combination and a must for the locality or species collector.
