Prehnite on Quartz

These specimens certainly have been few and far between. It features fine quality, lustrous, "water" green color spherical shaped aggregates of Prehnite sitting atop sharp, lustrous, well-formed, WATER CLEAR Quartz crystal matrix with a tiny bit of associated Epidote(?). The largest Prehnite "ball" measures 1.2 cm across. It is not terribly common to find these specimens on the market now, and this one is attractive to be sure. This locality seems to be producing less material than a few years ago, and this piece would certainly make an esoteric addition to any Chinese suite.
