Item Description

A very rich and impressive 3-dimensional mounded plate of densely clustered classic helmet-shaped, lustrous, translucent, light mint-green prehnite crystals from this less well-known Swiss locale. Ex Kay Robertson Collection # 9565 and acquired in Zurich in May, 1982. Previously in the collection of Anton Berger, a prominent Austrian dealer whose label dates from about 1929 to the 1950s. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017). An outstanding older example from the locale.
