Item Description

Preisingerite is a rare anhydrous Bi-arsenate approved in 1981. A straw-yellow crust of preisingerite covers one face of the blocky oxide-coated quartz matrix. A rich and rare specimen from this well-known mine in the historic Schneeberg District. Not pretty to look at, but a very rich example of the rare species and locale from the Matioli Collection.
