Item Description

An excellent, old-time, combination specimen from the famous Old Dominion Mine at Globe, Arizona. Sparkling, emerald-green, primary malachite microcrystals in bubbly, botryoids richly covers the gossan matrix. A cluster of colorless, glassy calcite rhombs is aesthetically set on the sculptural piece. Turquoise-blue chrysocolla underlies the malachite and is a nice accent. An attractive combination piece from this historic Arizona locale, probably dating to the 1950s or 1960s.
