Item Description

Pseudoboleite is a very rare lead copper chloride species, and is incredibly hard to find on the market. Here we have a wonderful small cabinet specimen with a mixture of microcrystals and crusts of fantastic rich blue Pseudoboleite which can be seen on multiple sides of the underlying host rock matrix. You can't get these seemingly anywhere, and if you collect rarities, don't pass it up. From the worldwide collection of David Burgess (1951-2016). David was a prolific species collector from Newington, Connecticut, and the namesake for the extremely rare cobalt arsenate species Burgessite, which he discovered. The piece also comes with a classic label from Josef Vajdák / Pequa Rare Minerals, which immediately increases the value in my mind.
