Item Description

A rich and showy trove of lustrous, translucent, butterscotch-colored, pseudocubic wulfenite crystals, to 1.4 cm, is aesthetically set on the sturdy, elongated, sculptural gossan matrix. Sparkly, druzy, microcrystalline brown mimetite and a couple patches of contrasting calcite are typical accessories. The bit of noted bruising to crystals at the top of the piece is only a modest detraction. This impressive combination is from the famous 2008 find at Mina Ojuela.
