Item Description

The Silberbrunnle Mine in Black Forest of Germany is well known for its excellent Pseudomalachite specimens, and this piece is a great example of said material. Botryoidal groups of blue-green Pseudomalachite are sitting on Quartz matrix. Good quality up close, and VERY hard to find on the market these days. A wonderful miniature display specimen of this rare hydrated copper phosphate. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#2338). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Velt" November-December 2017).
