Item Description

A striking cluster of six, prismatic pyrargyrite "towers" is aesthetically set at one end of the sculptural microcrystalline to massive pyrargyrite matrix on this classic old specimen, that predates the 20th Century. The largest crystal is 2.1 cm and these are large crystals for the historic locality. The lustrous silver-metallic specimen has classic "ruby silver" color and some gemminess under moderate light, but really GLOWS with cherry-red gemminess, when backlit! Ex Carl Stentz Collection # 79. Valued at $2000.
