Item Description

A hit at the 2007 Tucson Show, these attractive Pyrite specimens were gone nearly as fast as they hit the market. This piece comprises very sharp, well-formed, lustrous, metallic, soft silvery-golden colored cubic Pyrite crystals with a distinctive curvature on the edges. The largest Pyrite measures 2.5 cm on edge. The piece is in superb condition all the way around, and is nearly a complete "floater" as it is crystallized on every side, save one small point of attachment on the back. The accompanying dealer label states that this is Arsenian Pyrite, which may contribute to the slightly silvery color. Very attractive and not what one typically thinks of when it comes to Moroccan minerals. Valued in the inventory at $500.
