Two stunning, sharp, brilliant brass-yellow pyrite cubes are dramatically perched atop the marly limestone matrix pedestal on this very sculptural large specimen. The striking elongated cube is 4.1 cm with the smaller cube being 2.5 cm. The small cube is pristine and the bit of near edge bruising to the top face of the large crystal is out-of-sight in most views. Striking Navajun cubic pyrites are certainly one of most recognizable mineral species in the world and are among the world's finest examples of the species. Most such pieces are repaired, as is the case with this specimen. The piece displays beautifully without aid and every turn presents a distinctively different perspective to this excellent large example. Classic and excellent matrix Navajun pyrite.
