Item Description

A beautiful robust specimen of the classic Pyrites from the famous Huanzala Mine in Peru. This piece is loaded with highly lustrous (splendent), sharp, very well-formed, striated, metallic golden colored pyritohedral crystals measuring up to 3.1 cm, sitting on massive Pyrite matrix. The piece is in good shape overall, though some small nicks / roughness can be seen here and there. The brightness of the luster is difficult to convey through even the accompanying video for this listing, so I will say that the piece looks very good in person, and probably better than the video would suggest. Valued at $650-$750.
