At 5 pounds, this is a hefty, museum-sized cluster of the sharp octahedral pyrite crystals that were an old classic for this location, that used to be more widely seen in the 1980s and 1990s and today are fairly hard to come by. The crystals reach 2.5 cm in size, and have excellent condition! There is almost no damage to the display face, just a few dings on a few crystals on the periphery, out of dozens. Octahedral plates like this are far more rarefied today, than the modern style, mostly cubic material coming out of Huanzala.
