Item Description

Sparkling, colorful, tiny, iridescent brassy and metallic-gray pyritohedrons totally cover the mounded plate on this showy combination from Chenzhou Prefecture. The striking rippled texture is caused by the densely intergrown flattened calcite rhombs beneath the pyrite. The fluorescent calcite is attached to a thin concave matrix on the bottom.
