Item Description
Two, mirror-bright, brass-yellow, pyrite cubes are strikingly set in a wedge of chlorite schist on this outstanding specimen from a well-known Vermont locale. The sharp cubes, to 2.3 cm, are very nearly pristine. The starkly contrasting calcite between the cubes and against the green schist is a super accent. The base has been sawed to enhance the display quality and the piece shows very well without aid. Ex Schlichter Collection.
