A dramatic mounded CABINET plate of striated, mirror-bright, brass-yellow pyrite cubes to 1.8 cm from the famous mines at Concepcion del Oro. The central knob is riveting. The luster on these cubes must be seen to be fully appreciated! This is large superlative material from this historic locale, which really produced very few large pyrite specimens of this quality. These ar emirror-bright like Spanish pyrites. A very trivial bit of edgewear is noted. Easily compares with the best Huanzala material of this style. Ex Gene Meieran Collection and an old specimen.
