A striking and excellent elongate cluster highlighted by two, large and sharp, lustrous, brassy pyrite pseudomorphing incredibly complex marcasite crystals from the famous Nanisivik Iron Mine, above the Arctic Circle, on Baffin Island, Canada. This mine closed in 2002. The striking large crystal is 2.8 cm. The pseudos have a very nifty, light iridescence and striations. The incredibly diverse forms of pyrite pseudos are unique to this locality. Complete all-around and pristine. It looks great from either side. Choice, outstanding material.
