Item Description

Ross County is well-known for these interesting sculptural floater nodules. Two intergrown stellate shaped nodules are composed of oxide-coated tapered pyramidal marcasite spikes, that have been pseudomorphed by pyrite. Classic, excellent and pristine material from the Dr. Barratt Phillips Collection.
