Item Description
A showy and excellent cluster of large and sharp, bright, brassy pyrite pseudomorphing marcasite crystals from the famous Nanisivik Iron Mine, above the Arctic Circle, on Baffin Island, Canada. This mine closed in 2002. The incredibly diverse forms of pyrite pseudos are unique to this locality. Complete all-around, with only modest contacting on the ends, which is certainly not detracting.
