Item Description
Mirror-bright, well-striated, burnished, brass-yellow pyrite pyritohedrons form a striking and excellent specimen from the Quiruvilca Mine. The crystals are up to 4.5 cm, which is quite large for the locale. This is an outstanding, nearly pristine 360-degree specimen, with only trivial edge wear. This choice piece dates to the heyday of production in the early to mid-1970s and compares very favoably to the best from Huanzala. High praise. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock.
