Item Description

A flashy, rich and showy large mounded two-sided combination specimen from a New Find at the famous Huaron mines. A striking 7.2 cm cluster of mirror-bright brass-yellow pyritohedrons, to 1.5 cm, dominates one end of the specimen. Splendent metallic-gray, artistic melted-look galena cubes, to 2.0 cm, along with sprays of gemmy quartz points highlight the other half of the piece. The underlying matris is mostly rubyjack sphalerite. The interior is essentially pristine. The noted periphery wear is certainly only a modest detraction to this rich and impressive large combination from a New Find.
