The flashy chatoyant shimmer of these fascinating radial pyrites is a joy to behold. These beautiful, lustrous pyrite floater "suns" formed between an ancient bed of shale and clay near Sparta, Illinois. This one is complete all-around, front and back and is pristine. The radial appearance, itself, of the pyrite is very interesting. This is a choice, large and pristine specimen for the find. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON.
