Item Description

The limited 1997 high quality pyromorphite finds from this old Spanish lead-barite mine are the finest European finds since the world-class finds from the famed Les Farges Mine in France during the 1970s to early 1980s. Juicy, translucent apple-green hexagonal prisms fill two sides of the sculptural vuggy gossan matrix. The crystals reach 6 mm. The well-placed 1.3 cm corsage of larger crystals in the center is remarkable and beautiful. Choice and classic material from the find from the Sanabria Collection. The specimen displays well without aid.
