Item Description
Two generations of pyromorphite stand out on this classic, old-time and aesthetic, brown, Bad Ems pyromorphite. The very sculptural piece looks like a baobab tree with stout trunk with tiny, first generation prisms. The branches and leaves are classic, translucent, light chocolate-brown, lustrous barrels with the "wet-look". Crystals reach 1.3 cm. The bit of bruising is noted to the top of the piece, but is certainly a modest detraction. A fine display piece from the Dr. Gary Hansen Pyromorphite Collection.
