Item Description

A rich specimen of the fine Pyromorphites from China of the first (now classic and old) style that really shook things up nearly two decades ago when production surprised the world. The rich green crystals are well-formed and average about 4 mm in size. The sheer uniformity of the crystals, as well as the nice aesthetic, make this a quality small cabinet in every way. These Pyromorphites will certainly take their place alongside those from Bunker Hill and Les Farges in terms of desirability. In fact, this particular shape, size, color, style...it looks a LOT like old Les Farges French pyromophite, more than any other Chinese find since. Today, even after thousands more specimens of so many different styles, we clal these the "Les Farges style China pyros" in conversation. The color is darker, more forest green than modern material.
