With large, sculpturally displayed crystals to 1.5 cm, and a classic olive-green color, this is a superb example of Les Farges pyro form old finds. One rarely sees good specimens of this habit with robust crystals, today. The xl size is also large for the locality. This is from the collection of the late Los Angelino collector John Ydren, who purchased it in the 1960s or 1970s. It is aesthetic, and a good display size, in almost pristine condition. These stand out dramatically, not for color but for overall style, from any pyro from anywhere else. Valued $2000-2400
