Pyromorphite (fine color)

Item Description

A beautiful miniature specimen of these lesser-known Pyromorphites from the Saint-Salvy Mine in southern France. The piece features a beautiful rich green colored coverage of small shimmering crystals, some of which have formed radial "sprays", and unique almost organic looking forms (like ferns or palms) with minor Limonite on matrix. The small crystals are tapered, to the point where they are almost like "needles" at the tips, and we've photographed them with a Canon MP-E 65 mm macro lens to better illustrate the quality. Very attractive up close and a good presentable piece of this eye-catching material.
