Item Description
The Daoping Mine of China has produced a dizzying array of colorful pyromorphites and this is a fine and aesthetic example. Lustrous, grass-green, hoppered prisms densely cover the sculptural and 3-dimensional, christmas tree-like crystal cluster resting on gossan matrix. A trivial amount of bruising is noted and is only a modest detraction. Highly representative and very showy material from this contemporary classic locale, valued $1000-1250.
