Item Description

A surreal and sculptural pyromorphite from the famous Les Farge Mine. A fantastic second generation of tiny golden-yellow prisms preferentially coat the largest lustrous, translucent, orange to brown prisms. These amazimg two-generation crystals look like bottle brushes! The brush-like crystals reach 9 mm. First generation prisms along with cute scattered sprays of the tiny crystals totally cover the very sculptural, mounded oxide-coated barite matrix. Les Farges is world famous for a incredible variety of pyromorphite crystal forms and colors and this is an exceptional two-sided example. Self-collected by Paul Zerfass # 1783.
