Item Description
A wonderful association specimen of this well known material from the Rum Jungle in Australia. Most people are familiar with the Malachite and Cerussite specimens from this locale, but my personal favorite are the beautiful Pyromorphites on Malachite. Good specimens are few and far between on the market these days, though newer pieces have been collected in recent years. The piece features attractive, sharp, lustrous, yellow-green, prismatic, hexagonal crystals of Pyromorphite measuring up to 2 mm sitting on rich green Malachite on oxidized matrix. It's a good example of this classic material, and would make a great addition to a secondary ore collection or a suite of Australian minerals.
