Item Description

Pyromorphite specimens are RARE and are seldom on the market from this obscure small lead prospect in the Northern Territory. This is an exceedingly rich and large example from the locale. Lustrous, spherical clusters of translucent, tiny hexagonal crystals are strikingly festooned on the sculptural matrix. Crystal colors vary dramatically from bright canary-yellow to creamy, add real pizzazz to this fine large rarity. Ex Kay Robertson Collection # 13201. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien-Welt" November-December 2017). RARE large, rich and excellent large pyromorphite from this locale.
