Item Description

Juicy, translucent, bi-colored pyromorphite prisms are richly scattered on three sides of the miniature matrix on this rich and showy example from the 1995 finds at this ancient mine, first worked by the Romans. The hexagonal crystals have apple-green centers with contrasting tannish-yellow terminations and reach about 3 mm. This is a classic style of pyromorphite from the find. Ex Sanabria Collection.
