Item Description
A classic example of Pyrrhotite from the famed Stari Trg Mine at Trepča. This locality is well-known for its wonderful sulfides and carbonates, often associated with Quartz. The top pieces are some of the best examples of their respective species from any European locality. This piece features a wonderful "fan"-like, semi-foliated group of deep bronze colored blades of Pyrrhotite which are accented by little translucent, white Calcite crystals, creating a pleasing effect. Very minor roughness in a few spots, but no major damage, and it's quite showy.
