Item Description

Splendent, brassy-luster, upright, intergrown, pseudohexagonal, pyrrhotite crystals form a very aesthetic specimen from the famous Nikoleavskiy Mine at Dal'negorsk. The matrix is nicely accented with partially coated calcite crystals. The crystal cluster is complete all-around and nearly pristine, with only a bit of modest edgewear. Contemporary classic material and according to the label, collected in 2000. Very little new material has come the Dal'negorsk mines in recent years.
