Item Description

One of the more amazing and certainly unusual Quartz specimens I have ever seen. This perfectly clear, gemmy Quartz has not a trace of color in it - so much like sculpted water you would not believe it. The luster ranges from glassy to slightly frosted, which adds visibility to the remarkable, complex habit. The surface, though really not etched, gives the appearance of the famous etched Heliodors and Aquas. In person, it is even glassier that the pics, by far. The base, if you can call it that, has the sharp, six-sided mold of another crystal, presumably a Quartz. That adds character and mineralogical interest to what is already a superbly aesthetic specimen.
