Item Description

These specimens are some of the most classic Quartz pseudomorphs or "casts" from any world locality. With that said, this specimen is a great example showing the well defined octahedral form of the preexisting Fluorite crystals along with an unknown carbonate which were coated by small, almost "sugary", translucent, white Quartz crystals. The green Fluorite can still be seen on the underside of the specimen. A great display specimen of this now hard to find material from the famous Rich Kosnar colleciton. A wonderful specimen from a district that produced some of the most classic minerals from all of Colorado.
