A classic Swiss Quartz specimen from the famous Goscheneralp featuring a doubly-termianted, sharp, very gemmy, colorless, crystal with inclusions of soft green Clinochlore. Alpine Quartz specimens are among the finest quality Quartzes in the world, and many people would say that the best Quartz crystals from Switzerland are the best from the Alps. This piece is a good overall piece (only tiny nicks), better than just a reference specimen, and a worthwhile pickup for anybody who collects Quartz, Alpine minerals, gem crystals or well-formed crystals.
