Item Description

A lovely cabinet sized Quartz specimen from the lesser known Osceola mine in the San Juan Mountains. The "stubby" hexagonal crystals have a yellowish hue which is most likely due to some kind of iron oxide coating, and gives the specimen a great two-tone appearance as you can clearly see the white milky Quartz underneath. A cool cabinet sized display specimen of the rarely seen material. Specimens from the Osceola mine are not common on the market.
