Quartz (ex Rich Kosnar Collection)

Item Description

An unusual and not often seen Quartz specimen from the western side of Italy. It features very lustrous, well formed, striated, milky to colorless, sharp, terminated crystals of Quartz with minor iron inclusions. Some of the crystals are rather gemmy, and actually doubly-terminated. The back side of the piece may appear to be broken, but it is actually crystallized, and about 95% of the specimen has crystallization all the way around.
