Quartz included by Actinolite (ex Obodda)

Item Description

An elegant, dramatic, tapered quartz crystal is filled with green actinolite variety byssolite needles on this showy specimen from Alchuri, Pakistan. The jagged, multiple, shark's teeth termination adds much character. The quartz crystal is pristine, nearly transparent in some sections, has very nifty, stepped-growth faces and the wealth of actinolite needles gives the crystal a green tint. Some of the crystal faces are lightly frosted and/or etched. Complete all-around and aesthetic. Some contacting at the base, including the tips of the sidecar crystals, is certainly only a very modest detraction. Excellent material from the Herb Obodda dealer stock.
