Item Description
As with many specimens in Keith's personal collection, his choice examples of miniatures and small cabs in particular, they tend to be beautiful and displayable 360 degrees all around. This is a balanced and showy example of the rare habit of Japan Law twinning in Quartz, featuring a central, balanced crystal twin perched in a nest of regular prismatic quartz points. It is sharp, complete, pristine, and sparkling all around - please see video rather than photos, for better reference. The twins measure 5 cm and 4 cm on each "wing" as we call them. The left wing has a small contact and a small chip on the upper right edge, on one side (visible up close but not noticeable from a distance in any case), but otherwise there is no damage. Keith Williams personal collection (Keith is a retired dealer, known for his taste in aesthetic miniatures, USA classics, and Colorado material. He was one of the first to bring out Bulgarian material in the late 1980s and early 1990s, and a dealer for perhaps 50 years. )
