Item Description
Sparkling drusy quartz coats malachite on this extremely rich and sculptural large specimen from this less well-known New Mexico district. The scintillating drusy quartz imparts a beautiful green color to the malachite in the dramatically vuggy 4-sided layered boxwork matrix. Tiny sprays of primary malachite needles and tiny botryoids of blue and turquoise-blue chrysocolla are also noted on this very colorful, rich and striking specimen. Valued by the former dealer at $650.
