Item Description

One of the old-time, classic pseudomorphs of Carlsbad Twin Orthoclases from Saubachriss in Germany. The preservation of the original crystal is quite good, allowing the twinning to be clear, evident, and apprectiated. Interestingly, some of the pseudos from here have been labeled as Topaz, in comparison to the micaceous Quartz that we have here. A fine, historical pseudomorph, this small cab was #2919 in Kay's collection.
