Item Description

Grizzly Bear Mine specimens are among some of the most sought after San Juan specimens by Colorado collectors. This showy and excellent porcupine quill mound of frosty quartz points hosts clusters of pastel-pink rhodochrosite rhombs, brassy pyrite crystals and even a few sphalerite crystals. A very fine 360-degree combination specimen that is essentially pristine, except for barely noticeable termination wear to one of the large quartz crystals. The Zanett Tunnel was driven in 1981. Seldom available in this combination quality. Ex Harold Urish Collection. Valued at $800-1000.
