Quartz (''Seven Stone'')

Item Description

This material is marketed as "Seven Stone" or even "Super Seven Stone" due to the fact that it allegedly features seven different minerals and/or gem varieties. Although this is unique material, and certainly different from almost anything else you'll find, it has been noted that there are likely not seven different material featured in the stones. What we can confirm is that it features a combination of colorless Quartz, Smoky Quartz and purple Amethyst which hosts red to black acicular crystals of what has been said to be Lepidocrocite, Rutile or Goethite. Additionally, some reports said that Cacoxenite was present in the material, but it has never been confirmed. These gems are well-known in the metaphysical world (sometimes called "Melody Stone"), but they have plenty of interest for any gem collector for the multiple species/varieties that are present at the same time. The cut on this stone is a "Flat Oval" cut and looks great when backlit.
