Item Description
This a classic, radial "flower" featuring sharp, prismatic crystals of purple Amethyst to very soft lilac colored (nearly colorless) Quartz from Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. This beautiful and unique formation was carefully lifted from the copper-rich matrix, leaving only small amount of green Celadonite on the back side. There are dozens of tightly intergrown crystals here, with delicate transitions of purple to white / colorless on the tips. Most of the crystals are actually very well-formed with fine terminations upon close inspection. These are some of the most distinctive and iconic Amethyst specimens in the world, and every good Quartz collection needs one, no to mention every Brazilian suite or just general worldwide minerals.
