Chalcedony and Quartz are EXTREMELY RARE from the basalt deposit localities listed by MINDAT for Brisbane County, known for Zeolite Group species and calcite. In fact they do not list either species! A fantastic looking, rounded globular mass of lustrous, translucent honey-brown bubbly chalcedony botryoids dramatically fills a large sculptural vug in banded chalcedony. From an East Coast collection and comes with a faded, water-stained, century-old label. RARE, old Australian chalcedony!
