Item Description

Condor Agates are among the most colorful and beautiful examples of banded Agate from any world locality. This material was first introduced to the market in 1993 by Luis de los Santos from Argentina. This piece is a wonderful example of these famous Agates featuring beautiful patterns and forms of the eye-catching color banding on this sliced and polished nodule. The mixture of colors range from hues of golden, caramel, orange, red, pink and even a bit of lavender in the form of what is clearly Amethyst crystals in the center of the piece. Condor agates of this quality compare favorably with well-known Mexican Agates. The specimen comes with a label from the collection of Jessica Nowakowski.
